This lightweight lead is used in the house to interrupt a dog's undesirable behaviours, without the need for confrontation or misunderstanding. House lines are particularly useful to help train your puppy during those demanding early days. Stop jumping up, stealing, chewing, digging, chasing and many other mischievous behaviours. These leads provide hands-off management for disobedient dogs
This is a very strong, but lightweight houseline with standard (yet small & light) trigger hook. Using a house line has been the answer to many, many problems, for many, many years. In the past, many professionals have suggested using washing line, strings or laces to attach to your dogs collar, but now we have this purpose designed light lead.
It is not designed to be used as a regular walking lead. It can be used in a HUGE number of ways, but most often people find that a dog trailing a light line is easier to control in the house, during training. For example, the end of the line can be stood on, to prevent the dog lunging at visitors, yet the owner doesn't need to touch the dog, and can reinforce commands with voice and hand signals.
The line should never be left on if the dog is unattended.
